Philadelphia Phillies first baseman Bryce Harper is endearing himself to the London crowd while his team is playing the New York Mets across the pond.
During Saturday's game, with one out in the top of the fourth inning at London Stadium and New York leading by one, Harper drove a 78 mph sweeper from Mets starter Sean Manaea deep into the England sky that probably still hasn't landed. It was his 15th round-tripper of the season and it tied the score at one.
As Harper made his way to the dugout, the two-time NL MVP celebrated by imitating a soccer slide, befitting a player who just scored a goal.
Harper had a hit in each of his first three at-bats on Saturday.
